Saturday the 14th of February is St Valentine’s Day – celebrated in many countries around the world, Valentine’s Day is associated with romantic love and as such is expressed by many with the giving of flowers, chocolates or sweets and gift cards.
It is definitely one of, if not the biggest day of the year at the Richmond Florist store and we have been busy planning for the big day. Roses, particularly red roses, are the most popular flower type for Valentine’s Day and we have a large range of designs from the traditional and classic long stem roses in a box to more contemporary designs that we have developed in recent years including the most popular to date – the rose and vine pots. Roses are in my top three favourite flower varieties and I just never get tired of working with them. They of course are also a favourite of many of our customers and are always in high demand…This arrangement of white roses in a glass cube vase is a recent addition to our online range and I love the simplicity of its design and how it showcases the beauty of the rose bloom. This presentation would also make elegant table centres for a wedding or function.

Well we’re off to a great start in 2015 with many flower orders being placed for delivery throughout the lovely suburb of Richmond and with the very hot weather in the last couple of days we have been recomending our customers choose orchids and other tropical blooms and foliage as the best option for lasting well in the hot Melbourne summer…
Theses orchid vases are one of our latest designs and are proving to be a real winner as the glass creates a humid micro-climate which the orchids thrive in.
